PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUTH MINISTRY
St Andrew’s Chorleywood is a Church that is passionate about reaching and discipling young people, equipping them for a lifetime of serving Jesus. Our vision for Youth Ministry is to:
- Be with Jesus – spending time with Him;
- Be like Jesus – developing authentic Community through fun, food and worship together;
- Be(yond) – committing ourselves to urgent outreach and making space for others to know Jesus with us.
To take this lively ministry forward we are seeking somebody who is:
- passionate about Jesus, youth discipleship and outreach;
- a person of prayer, honesty and integrity;
- a natural leader (and shepherd)
- deeply relational, connects easily with Youth and understands how they think and act.
- proactive in developing their growth in leadership and faith;
- comfortable with our Charismatic Evangelical Anglican Worship; and
able to teach and lead in this area.
In support of this vision, St Andrew’s has recently acquired the Hillside Centre. Plans are in place for this to be refurbished to upgrade its facilities with the prime objective of facilitating ministry to the young people of Chorleywood and the surrounding area. You will be a key part of this.
