Associate Vicar St Paul’s Church Dorking
God is for Dorking and our vision is to see His Kingdom come to our town through
prayer, action and in partnership with the wider Christian community. At St Paul’s,
our focus is to ‘Gather, Grow and Go’ with Jesus in order to see our community
transformed.
We are seeking to appoint an Associate Vicar who is passionate about sharing the
good news of Jesus, who will serve alongside the Vicar in the leadership of the
church, helping to expand our capacity for mission, strengthen our leadership, and
have a specific responsibility for re-envisioning and developing our work with young
families.
As a church, in the last couple of years, we have seen a steady influx of young
families, both to our Sunday services and to our midweek community ministries
(toddler group and daily community café). We see an exciting opportunity to build
on this growth and develop new innovative pathways of faith that would bring a
growing number to faith in Jesus.
We are looking for a gifted, servant-hearted leader; a team player and team builder,
with a deep love for Jesus, who is comfortable working and serving within a
charismatic evangelical Anglican Church.
