Growing Hope – November Prayer Diary

This month we pray for hope in the lives of children with additional needs and their families

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs, and their families, in partnership with local churches across the UK.

They aim to grow hope for children through the provision of free therapy, hope for families, through courses and support for parents, carers and siblings; and hope in Jesus, through offering to pray for families and inviting them to attend church if they’d like to.

Families often have lots to juggle and not enough support. Recently, Sara* said that she couldn’t believe Growing Hope would support her non-verbal autistic child to be able to come to church. Emma* was so relieved to have therapy advice after her child being on a two year waiting list.

We pray that all families would experience hope, that all families would be able to get the therapy appointments they need and know that they can be seen, heard and belong in their communities.

We pray that all churches would be places of belonging where individuals with additional needs are welcomed and celebrated as part of church family.
