PRAY FOR CHILDREN LIVING IN POVERTY
Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) is a Christian children’s charity passionate about seeing struggling children find hope in the face of adversity. TLG offers a practical approach to build strong connections between local churches, families and schools; providing a lifeline to children and families facing heart-breaking challenges.
After the news this month that the number of children eligible for free school meals has risen sharply to almost 1.9 million, an increase of almost a third since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we want to pray for children who don’t have enough to eat.
On top of these figures, the Child Poverty Action Group has also indicated that another 800,000 children are also living in poverty but do not qualify for free school meals.
Together we pray that no child would feel that pain of hunger or the stress of not knowing where their next meal will come from.

PRAY FOR PAJULE, UGANDA
This year at United, World Vision will be inviting attendees to make a lasting difference in a child’s life through their child sponsorship initiative, Chosen.
Twenty to thirty years ago, the community of Pajule in northern Uganda was decimated by a rebel group called the Lord’s Resistance Army – thousands of people were displaced from their homes and thousands more children were abducted as child soldiers – and years later this community is still recovering from the devastation.
Dear Lord, hear our prayer for the community of Pajule. As World Vision seek to work for the restoration of this community we ask you to bring peace, love and comfort to the hearts of these people.
Restore all that was lost and rebuild all that which was destroyed.
Amen
