NEW WINE WORSHIP

Worship Leaders Network

We are passionate about equipping worship leaders of all levels of experience and in all contexts to lead worship in spirit and truth. To raise the temperature of the local church, lead with passion and serve in the best way we can to point people to Jesus. Our hope is that the Worship Network will provide something for everyone!

Prayer meetings

Each fortnight we meet to pray together for ourselves, our worship teams and our local churches that we would see a fresh move of the Spirit.

Workshops

Once a month from September 2026 we will be hosting live workshops with worship practioners who will share their thoughts and wisdom on an area of worship leading – from pastoring your worship team right through to songwriting.

Training days

There will be 2-3 in-person training days in the 2026-27 academic year, an opportunity to bring your worship team along to share vision, pray together and get some practical teaching on being part of the worship team, whether they’re on BVs or behind the desk on PA! Watch this space for more information on dates and locations…

Retreat

Once a year, in Springtime, we retreat together. To rest and recharge, to be re-envisioned for the year ahead. This retreat is a time for connection with other worship leaders across the country, as well as input from our New Wine Worship family, and time for personal reflection and relaxation (in 2026 we had a pool and sauna, putting the TREAT into retreat!)

Mentoring

In Summer 2026 we’re launching our Worship Leaders mentoring program. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in our Network, and we believe that mentoring is a great way to support leaders, whether they’re new to a job or have been doing it a long time! If you’re interested in having a mentor…

Vision

We want to see every church up and down the UK worshipping in spirit and in truth. Worship leaders and teams who minister in the power of the Holy Spirit, on stage and off, 365 days a year.

We want to see the Church in the UK singing songs birthed out of the local church from and for the nation. World class songs that shake the ground and shape the atmosphere to be a place of praise, intimacy, joy and worship.

We want to see creativity rise and gifting released that shakes the status quo. Songs, art, dance, media and more that reveals the mystery, wonder and beauty of who God is.

We want to see disciples pursuing deep intimacy with Jesus and consistent growth in prayer, study and the secret place.

Character above competency
Prayer above pride
Surrender above songs
Transformation above talent
Jesus above everything

Strategy

Joe Hardy is the Head of Worship at New Wine and is building worship hubs in each region. The aim is to meet monthly to invest in seven people in each region. These seven will then invest in another seven in their locality. The dream is that, in time, this continues to multiply on a local level, raising up leaders through relationship. We aim to see more regional gatherings and, more importantly, to build ongoing relationships.

Events

The NWW hub leaders meet annually to worship, pray, share stories and encourage one another. We also gather NWW hubs annually for regional conferences. All worship events will be focussed on building relationships to support the overall vision and serve the local church beyond the event.

At the summer festivals we run worship breakouts covering the theology of worship, NWW vision and values and key practices in the local church. We also gather leaders to pray, encourage each other and share what God is doing.

We will be limiting the number of ‘guest’ worship leaders at the summer festivals to give space for our own family to serve, grow and be invested in. This may mean it’s not as ‘polished’, but we’re committed to raising up younger leaders.

Resources

In the future we are aiming to develop an online forum to discuss vision, values and theology, as well as provide space to share songs that are serving the local church from within the NWW family.
