Medical Team

Medical Team

We welcome Ambulance Personnel, Doctors, First Aiders, HCAs, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses from all backgrounds to join us as we work together in a supportive multi-disciplinary team, seeking to provide 24/7 medical care which is of a high standard delivered in a way which is compassionate and holistic. We see patients with a wide spectrum of clinical presentations, and welcome healthcare professionals from a range of clinical backgrounds and specialties.

Are you a receptionist or medical administrator? We’d love to have you on board too!

We know that doing the ‘day job’ on holiday is a big ask, so we welcome part-time as well as full-time applicants and aim to provide family-friendly shifts.

Please provide us with a brief overview of your current role and/or relevant past experience, NMC/GMC/HCPC numbers and copies of any relevant certificates.

Doctors will need a minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience.

Nurses need an active current registration with the UK NMC; minimum qualification RN level 1.
First Aiders need to provide details of a Community First Responders, St John’s or British Red Cross certificate, including expiry dates. Please note that applicants who don’t undertake regular duties with St John’s or the Red Cross may be considered on submission of details about either first aid or life experience. There are a number of duties within the team that may require less experience than some of the full-time First Aid roles.

If you’d like to find out more before applying, please contact the New Wine office on info@new-wine.org, who will forward your enquiry to the team leaders.

New Wine wouldn’t exist without our army of volunteers – there are thousands! We know how important you are to the New Wine family and want to make sure you are valued.

Each Team member pays a non-refundable £30 fee. This is to contribute to the significant costs of administering all the necessary management and administration, which New Wine meets the majority of centrally as an organisation. You will also need to provide your own accommodation (either on or off-site).
